I BOUGHT FRENDEN’S BRUSHES!!! :) I know the anatomy is wonky and atrocious here but I figured that if I never get out of my comfort zone and stop drawing only from the shoulders up, then I’m never going to get better. :-( right? So there we go. If anyone has any constructive criticism, I’m all ears. Anyways, the brushes were super fun. The inking ones are a bit intimidating but so amazing. Truly worth every single penny. <3

Couple years ago when I was really into Twitter, the highlight of my days was discussing gender with dear Kate Bornstein and saying &#8220;Good Night twibe&#8221; after an evening of provoking thoughts. I came back into Twitter some weeks ago and thought it logical to follow Kate again, only to read her timeline and find out, rather abruptly, that she was in the midst of battling cancer. She&#8217;s kicking its arse, of course, because Kate Bornstein is fabulous like that, but I wanted to make her this to tell her how important she&#8217;s been to me, a lonely trans boy in Venezuela who&#8217;s never had the chance to meet her in person or get one of her adorable &#8220;Get Out of Hell Free&#8221; cards she&#8217;s famous for. Kate, if you&#8217;re reading this, I hope only the best things in the world happen to you and I want to remind you that just by existing, you have made thousands happier, better human beings. xoxo, - Aleksander Cosme.Caracas, Venezuela.
